Highlights
- A new guide for independent shops - most small shop rotas are built to the opening hours, not to when customers actually turn up. The guide walks through exporting four weeks of hourly till data, laying the rota over it, and reshaping the three quietest hours before cutting anything.
- Cover images on every post - the blog index and each post now open with their own illustration rather than a plain panel.
- The lone-working question, answered properly - the quiet hour is the one owners are tempted to run on single cover. The guide sets out what HSE expects before anyone works alone, and why the risk assessment comes before the rota change.
Worth knowing
- Nothing changes inside the app. This release is the public site only. Your rotas, clock-ins and timesheets are untouched.
Changes
Features
- content(blog): a guide on staffing an independent shop around footfall, with sources from the BRC, ACS, HSE, Acas and GOV.UK.
- content(blog): cover images for all three posts.
Fixes
- fix(blog): cover images were coming back with invented lettering across them. The generator no longer asks for objects that carry writing, and the image style that invited annotations is gone.
