Invite your whole team at once, and unplanned shifts on the rota

09/10/2026

Staff added without an email can now be invited in one go, Wavro tells you when people on a published rota cannot see it yet, and a clock-in with no planned shift now shows up on the rota once it ends.

Highlights

  • Invite the whole team in one go - the Staff page now lists everyone who has no Wavro login yet. Type an email next to each name and send every invite at once, instead of editing people one by one.
  • Know when your rota is not reaching people - when you publish a week, Wavro tells you how many people on it cannot see it yet, with a button straight to the invites. The dashboard shows the same reminder until they join.
  • Unplanned shifts land on the rota - when someone clocks in without a planned shift, the shift now appears on the rota with the real start, end and break as soon as they clock out, so the week shows what actually happened.

Worth knowing

  • Adding an email is still optional. You can keep adding staff with just a name and pay rate, and invite them later from the Staff page.
  • Invites already sent stay valid. Sending again from the new screen issues a fresh link.

Changes

Features

  • Invite team: bulk invites from the Staff page, with an email field per person and a result for each row.
  • Rota: publishing reports how many people on the week have no login, with a shortcut to invite them.
  • Dashboard: a "Staff without a login" reminder in Needs attention.
  • Clock: closing an unplanned clock-in creates a published shift with the real times, linked to its timesheet.

Fixes

  • The welcome email after signing up now reliably arrives. It could be dropped before it was sent.
  • Server logs no longer record database queries with their values in production.
