Highlights
- Free UK calculators - the new Free tools section has three calculators anyone can use without an account. Holiday entitlement works out 12.07% for irregular hours, or 5.6 weeks capped at 28 days for fixed hours. Labour cost shows your wages as a share of net sales against the published bands for your type of business. Bank holiday pay shows what a premium costs in each UK nation this year and next. Each one links the GOV.UK and Acas guidance it follows.
- A page for each trade - cafés and restaurants, bars and pubs, hotels and hostels, retail, gyms and studios, salons and barbers, clinics and care, cleaning and facilities, and warehousing and logistics each have their own page. Each covers the rota problems that trade has, how Wavro handles them and what it does not do for that trade.
- Four new guides - switching rota software without losing a week, reading a timesheet before you approve it, bank holiday pay for UK shift teams, and café shift swaps without the group chat.
Worth knowing
- We now note when you sign in and open the app. Each sign-in, the first visit in each hour, opening the billing page and starting checkout are kept against your company, so the Wavro team can see when an account was last used and help when a trial runs out. What you do on a page is not recorded.
